InnerWireless Expands Leadership Team by Adding
Senior Sales Executive with Proven Track Record in
National Systems Sales to Enterprises
William Holman, long-time NEC executive, to head InnerWireless sales
Richardson, Texas – Oct. 28, 2003
– InnerWireless Inc., a turnkey in-building wireless distribution
systems company, has added William J. Holman as senior vice president
of sales to build upon the company’s success in winning contracts
with Fortune 500 companies, healthcare, hospitality, Class A office
and high-traffic public venues.
With his extensive enterprise systems sales background and a strong
track record of enhancing already successful sales teams, Holman
will focus on further accelerating InnerWireless’ penetration
into the corporate enterprise market, as well as key vertical markets
such as healthcare, hospitality and government.
“In 2003, InnerWireless achieved its business objectives
as the benefits of InnerWireless have become more widely understood
by the marketplace, and as the need for, and adoption of, in-building
wireless solutions accelerated,” said InnerWireless President
and CEO Ed Cantwell. “Bill is well known in the industry,
and he is coming on board at a time when InnerWireless is taking
its sales and marketing approach to the next level. We are looking
forward to Bill playing an important role in the company’s
growth as we head into 2004.”
Prior to joining InnerWireless, Holman spent 10 years as an executive
in charge of national sales for subsidiaries of the NEC Corporation.
Holman, who has more than 20 years of sales experience, will report
to Cantwell. In addition to enterprise and other key customer market
sales, Holman will oversee the operations and growth of InnerWireless’
sales locations throughout the United States and international markets.
During 2003, InnerWireless announced high-profile implementations
including the addition of national wireless service providers on
its system in New York City’s Rockefeller Center Concourse,
one of the busiest commuter thoroughfares in Manhattan, and a system
providing coverage for both commercial Wi-Fi service and PCS/cellular
services in the convention center and meeting area at the Mohegan
Sun, one of the premier meeting, entertainment, gaming, dining and
shopping destinations on the East Coast. The company’s InnerWireless
system deployments include corporate offices and campuses, hospitals,
hotels, convention centers, shopping malls and Class A offices throughout
the United States, providing consistent, reliable coverage for multiple
wireless services and applications over a shared in-building wireless
distribution infrastructure.
