among leaders in commercial real estate technology
RICHARDSON– Texas – August
8, 2004 – – InnerWireless, Inc., a provider of
broadband, multi-service wireless distribution systems for large
buildings, today announced that it has received the “Digie”
Award for “Most Innovative Technology – Building Infrastructure
Automation” at the Realcomm 2004 Conference. The prestigious
award recognizes InnerWireless for having consistently demonstrated
a distinct and comprehensive vision for wireless applications, involvement
in some of the most sophisticated wireless implementations throughout
the world, and continuing commitment to broaden its overall vision
with strategic relationships with partners such as Johnson Controls,
Inc., (NYSE: JCI). Realcomm 2004 is a commercial real estate automation
and buildings solutions conference, providing a venue where industry
leaders meet to discuss, analyze and debate the latest innovations
that are impacting the Commercial Real Estate industry.
“The InnerWireless team is proud to be honored by the leading
commercial real estate technology organization in the country,”
said InnerWireless President and CEO Ed Cantwell. “This award
further underscores InnerWireless’ commitment to providing
a wireless utility that allows in-building users access to information
anywhere, anytime, and allowing them to act on that information
through the InnerWireless turnkey system.”
The company’s innovative InnerWireless wireless distribution
system is installed once in a commercial property providing precisely
engineered and guaranteed coverage for a wide variety of current
and future wireless services without additional intrusive, costly
infrastructure changes. Installed in commercial office buildings,
campuses, shopping malls, hospitals, convention centers, parking
structures – any institution or commercial enterprise –
the InnerWireless system helps eliminate dead signal spots and facilitates
the expanding number of wireless applications and devices. These
include wireless LANs, personal communications services (PCS), cell
phones, PDAs and two-way radios for property maintenance and security.
“Innerwireless is very deserving of this year’s “Digie”
