InnerWireless Adds Senior Marketing Executive
RICHARDSON– Texas – April
5, 2004 – InnerWireless, Inc., a turnkey in-building
wireless distribution systems company, has added Edward E. Jungerman
as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. Mr.
Jungerman has more than 30 years of experience in areas of particular
value to InnerWireless and its growth strategy.
Most recently, Mr. Jungerman was President of Impulse Telecommunications
Corporation, an 18-year-old strategy, marketing, product management
and corporate finance advisory firm. Impulse’s primary focus
was on the wireless market where it advised more than 90 clients,
ranging from industry giants to early-stage companies. Before Impulse,
Mr. Jungerman was President and a co-founder of NetAmerica Corporation,
a start-up venture to establish a nationwide long-distance network
services business. Prior to NetAmerica, Mr. Jungerman was group
Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Northern
Telecom (now Nortel Networks) where he was responsible for the highly
successful DMS-250 and SL-100 families of switching systems, which
became the leading products in their markets. Mr. Jungerman also
recently served on the board of directors of a large, publicly traded
wireless messaging company.
At InnerWireless, Mr. Jungerman and his team will be responsible
for positioning the company’s InnerWireless product and planning
product extensions to capitalize on the company’s recent successes
in single- and multi-tenant office buildings, large shopping malls,
hospitals and hotels/convention centers. The team also will be responsible
for providing marketing and product support to Johnson Controls,
Inc., as part of the recently announced alliance agreement with
InnerWireless.
