A Distributed Antenna System, or DAS, Horizon4G enables provides the delivery of wireless services to every corner of the enterprise.  Four key attributes make Horizon4G the ideal enterprise wireless platform - broadband by design, guaranteed coverage at the point-of-use, unparalleled capacity with proven traffic management strategies, and reliable 24x7 availability.

How?  Horizon4G is a single wireless antenna solution that can be designed to deliver virtually every wireless service consumed by the enterprise:

  • Your building is wired with a combination of fiber optics, coaxial cabling and broadband antennas.  Connections are made to a fiber optic hub, located in a single common area, and small remotes that are typically located in IDF closets.
  • Wide-area services, such as 3G and 4G LTE, are connected to Horizon4G in the common area using a bi-directional amplifier, microcell, or BTS provided by the wireless service provider.
  • Additionally, wireless LAN services, such as 802.11n and WMTS, are connected to Horizon4G in the same floor-level IDF closets or in specially designed ceiling cabinets.
  • All “converged” wireless signals are distributed throughout the facility via the antennas that radiate each and every wireless service.
