Carrier Coordination simplifies and expedites the relationship between our customers and
the wireless carriers. Ensuring cellular coverage is almost always the number one reason to
implement a DAS; and getting connected to your required wireless carriers is key. But wireless
carriers have both engineering and business case requirements for providing
in-building coverage. You may only need one carrier at launch or
many or you may even add carriers after launch. In any case, InnerWireless works on your behalf
to get service from the wireless carriers.
Horizon and Horizon Fusion are both approved by every major carrier and an InnerWireless
project manager works with the wireless carriers in a coordinated fashion:
- Engage desired wireless carriers - scoping the project
- If required, during the site survey, collect band scans of the in-building carrier signals
- Identify required signal strength coverage for voice and/or data, plus determine capacity requirements based on number of users
- Determine correct signal source for the carrier – a bi-directional amplifier, a micocell, or even a base station
- Coordinate installation of Horizon and the carrier signal sources
- Provide post-installation warranty and support
Having wireless carriers connected to Horizon at launch is key; however even if you decide to
add carriers later, InnerWireless will work with you and the carriers to successfully support the
Smartphones and other cellular devices that your operations require.
