A wireless industry pioneer, seasoned entrepreneur, venture capitalist and author, Roman had instrumental roles in building multiple business units and divisions, products, brands, distribution and market development of cellular since 1983. Roman has held senior corporate development, strategy, marketing, and product development positions with Nokia, Panasonic, GoldStar (LG), and OKI and was a founder of Global Wireless Holdings (GWH), E-Life, Inc. (a proposed spinout from Nokia), SpeedLink Communications, ChangeAgent Media and the Thought Leaders Network. Roman is also co-author of four books published by McGraw-Hill on communications technologies, including: “Wireless Internet Crash Course” and “3G Wireless Demystified”. Roman is a Fellow of the Radio Club of America and was named a 2001 High Tech All-Star. He currently serves on the Board of Directors or Advisors of At Auction, ChangeAgent Media, Hunome, ThoughtLeader Network, Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas and the University of Texas at Dallas, School of Management - Executive Education. Roman holds a B.A. degree from Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Private Equity program at Harvard Business School; and the Strategy & Innovation Program at MIT Sloan.
